Flyadeal Makes India Debut with Daily Riyadh–Hyderabad Flights

Saudi Arabia’s budget carrier flyadeal has officially entered the Indian aviation market with the launch of its first scheduled service connecting Riyadh and Hyderabad. The new daily flight marks a significant milestone in the airline’s international expansion while strengthening air connectivity between India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The inaugural flight was welcomed at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, symbolizing the beginning of flyadeal’s operations in one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets. The move comes amid rising passenger demand driven by business travel, tourism, family visits, and the large Indian expatriate community residing in Saudi Arabia.

Daily Non-Stop Connectivity

flyadeal will operate the route seven days a week using its modern Airbus A320neo aircraft configured with 186 all-economy seats. Passengers will benefit from onboard USB charging ports and an enhanced cabin experience designed for short and medium-haul travel.

The schedule has been planned to provide convenient overnight travel between the two cities while offering onward domestic connections across Saudi Arabia through flyadeal’s expanding network.

Boost for India–Saudi Travel

The launch is expected to benefit several traveller segments, including:

  • Indian expatriates working in Saudi Arabia
  • Business travellers
  • Leisure tourists
  • Religious travellers heading for Umrah and other pilgrimages

With Saudi Arabia witnessing increasing outbound and inbound travel under its tourism diversification plans, the new route is expected to further strengthen bilateral tourism and commercial ties.

Hyderabad Strengthens International Network

For Hyderabad Airport, the addition of flyadeal further expands its Middle East connectivity and reinforces its position as one of India’s fastest-growing international aviation hubs. The airport continues to attract new international airlines as passenger traffic between India and Gulf countries continues to rise.

Industry experts believe the introduction of another low-cost carrier on the India–Saudi Arabia corridor will increase competition, provide more affordable fares, and offer travellers greater flexibility when planning their journeys.

flyadeal’s India Expansion Begins

The Hyderabad route is only the first phase of flyadeal’s India strategy. The airline has already indicated plans to add more Indian destinations as it continues expanding its international footprint. India represents one of the airline’s most important growth markets due to strong economic, cultural, and people-to-people ties between the two nations.

As air travel demand between India and Saudi Arabia continues to grow, flyadeal’s entry is expected to create additional travel options while supporting stronger business, tourism, and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
